SCO OpenServer systems have been the de facto operating system platform for small and medium sized businesses for over a decade. With the latest generation of SCO OpenServer systems, you can easily expand your computing environment as your business computing needs grow. Integrated support for electronic mail and Internet services ensures that your business can leverage the World-Wide-Web to give your company the exposure it deserves and communicate more efficiently with customers and prospects. Built-in support for Windows File/Print services means that a single multi-functional server platform can be utilized to run your entire operation, while the field-proven reliability of SCO OpenServer keeps you in business. SysIntegrators, LLC is fully certified with SCO OpenServer 5. We have two full time Master ACE's for SCO OpenServer on staff. SCO OpenServer 5 Product FamilyEnterprise Edition: "In addition to the critical business applications, SCO OpenServer Enterprise System reliably provides a variety of network services including file and print services for both UNIX® and Windows systems, E-Mail services, web services, Internet connectivity, and calendar services." This is the most popular version of OpenServer sold today. It comes with a base license of 5 users. Media Kit sold separately. Our engineers have installed hundreds of OpenServer Enterprise Systems, going all the way back to version 5.0.0. Host System: "The SCO OpenServer Host System is an excellent platform for delivering highly reliable, non-networked multi-user solutions." If you run in an environment in which there are no networked PC's needing to be attached to the OpenServer system, and you primarily have dumb terminals and other serial devices (such as printers and bar code scanners) then this is the right version for you. Note that this version can not connect to the internet via a network card. Media Kit sold separately. Desktop System: "The Desktop System excels at running client-side, transaction-based applications, accessing databases and networked information, and providing file/resource sharing and communications across a range of peer, server and host environments." This version is very good for a low cost developer based, entry level OpenServer system. Media Kit sold separately. Non-Commercial Educational Edition: The non-commercial educational edition of SCO OpenServer is no longer available. It's features were basically the same as those of the Enterprise Edition, however it restricted use in non-commercial, home/educational use facilities only. Hot Links for SCO OpenServer 5
