Microlite BackupEDGE™ provides file by file data protection for UNIX and Linux systems. BackupEDGE provides all the "normal" day-to-day maintenence you'd expect from a backup package, plus many powerful features described below. Along with BackupEDGE for Caldera OpenServer 5, SCO UNIX 3.2v4.2, UnixWare 7.1 and Linux for Intel, Microlite provides a product for Crash Recovery called RecoverEDGE. RecoverEDGE recovers an unbootable system to its normal, functional state using Backup EDGE backups and bootable floppy disks, CD-ROMs, or HP-OBDR™ Bootable Tapes.
